Our newest addition, 3D Laser (LIDAR) Scanning, provides Teran Group with surveying and design capabilities unimagined just a few years ago. The terrestrial laser scanner system, the RIEGL LMS-Z390, consists of a highly accurate and fast 3D scanner, associated operating and processing software RiSCAN PRO, and a calibrated and definitely orientated high-resolution digital camera.

The system provides data which lend itself to automatic or semi-automatic processing of scan data and image data to generate products such as textured triangulated surfaces or orthophotos with depth information to an accuracy of ¼”. In addition to RISCAN PRO, post processing of scanned data is performed with PHIDIAS AND TERRASOLID which also run in MicroStation.
